In Leopard there is a new protocol for Quartz Compositions making it easy to create visualizers like the ones in iTunes. Launch iTunes 8, start a song and select View->Visualizer->Lathe and then View->Show Visualizer to see what I'm talking about. Lathe, Stix and Jelly are all created in Quartz Composer, and this post will show you how to use them in your own Cocoa application.
